First update at home...

Richelle is now all settled and starting to get into a daily routine at home. She has physical therapy that comes 3 times a week and occupational therapy that comes 4 times a week. Thanks to some amazing friends and wonderful neighbors, Richelle is getting Physical Therapy every day though! She continues to make strides forward and now has limited movement in her hands and fingers. Her attitude continues to amaze us all at her determination and will to do what people tell her she cannot do. Her smile and humor keep all of us going and we are so blessed to have her! Richelle continues to get a lot of visitors and she really enjoys this. If you would like to visit Richelle, we ask that you come anytime after 1:00 pm, as her mornings are pretty busy.

Thank you to everyone for all of your hard work and amazing support. I am eternally grateful to each and everyone of you who have helped and continue to help my family. We don't even know where to begin to thank everyone. Between the beautiful new home that my parents and Richelle now live in, to the meals that are being delivered from the Sheriff's Department, to all of the cards that keep coming in to lift Richelle's spirits, it is all so touching and just continues to leave us speechless and in awe of what a wonderful community we are surrounded by.

I will try and update this blog spot every couple of weeks with Richelle's progress, I am just unable to update it daily as I did when she was in the hospital. Thank you again for your prayers and support.

  1. Sherylee, Thank you for all the updates. Richelle is very blessed to have you as a sister. Look forward to all the updates.

  2. Thanks for the updates. I don't know your sister but I have a teenage daughter that goes to Eatonville High and travels Mountain highway daily. I can relate, wish your sister the best, she sounds like a real fighter.

  3. Thank you for your faithfulness to keep us all updated. You are a wonderful sister. It sounds like you have an amazing community in Eatonville. It is wonderful to hear of such things and gives hope for us all.

  4. Hey Sherylee,
You have been doing an awesome job with all of the updates. I have a blog and I am terrible about updating it even though I know that our family back home checks it often. I'm glad that Richelle is back at home and I can't wait to see the new house when I visit this summer. I hope that I can see you too.

  5. thank you for this way for us to keep in touch and prayers for all of you. god bless and will post more later gentle hugs for richelle and all of you

  6. Richelle,
My daughter, Sonti, and I are so thrilled you are home now! Our family and I keep praying for you. She had a T6 spinal cord injury 3 years ago in a car accident. She is 19 now. I just learned of a book called "I Stand". By Pam Morgan and Brenda Black. ( here is the link) She was healed from her paralysis she had from a car accident. I plan on reading it myself. I just found out about it today from a woman in Arkansas. Well Richelle, God Bless...we aren't giving up on your miracle....

  7. Hi Richelle, I'm Mark. My father Frank is your neighbor. He enjoys spending time with you and keeps me updated on your progress each day that we talk. Perhaps one day I'll meet you. Until then, take care and keep up your great work. Mark
